Springtime Colours

I love the new seasons pastels and floral prints that are all around us at the moment, the colours are so fresh and pretty. I decided to work on a couple of pastel items today the first is a Ceramic Bead, Pearl and Crystal Necklace in Purples and Greens. I love the way the pearls and crystals carry the colour of the ceramic beads through the necklace. What do you think? I also made a co-ordinating Bracelet. I also made a Ribbon Bookmark. I have been using one for ages and adore it, I love the noise the cluster of beads make when I'm using it and it looks so nice sitting on my bedside table lol...The one I made today is made with lilac ribbon, Semi Precious Fluorite and Smooth Amethyst Beads and a couple of Butterfly Charms one saying "created for you".

Bridal Bits

Have started work on my latest collection for the Bride...so far I have posted pictures of some Bouquet Crystals and some Bridal Earrings on the facebook page. The Bouquet crystals are really on trend this year for adding a little bit of extra sparkle to your flowers. I'll hopefully have them in the webshop in a couple of days once I have completed a couple of other bits. bbl x

Life....

never runs smoothly does it, I had so many good intentions today my other half is home on Wednesday after 4 months away and today was housework day!!.....I am not a domesticated goddess by any stretch of the imagination but I like my house to look presentable so today's list included cleaning, washing, ATTACKING the playroom as well as much more and what do I do....trip over the kitchen broom. OWWWW not good I'm laying there screaming my head off as two nine year olds run panicking all over the place "we'll phone an ambulance Mummy", I finally calm them and myself down enough to untwist my leg and ankle and hobble to the sofa. Ice pack applied, Cup of tea made and Boiled egg cleaned off the carpet....yep I was carrying the breakfast through. What a disastrous start to what was supposed to be a very busy day. We have managed to muddle through though and between us got tidied up and put the washing away I have bumped up and down stairs a few times and my boy's have been a godsend. I am finally not panicking about jobs not being done.....why do us women heap so much pressure on ourselves!!! bbl x

Lovers Necklace

I am really happy with the way this necklace turned out....the photo doesn't really do it justice. It is hung on an 18" Sterling Silver Chain and I have used two Swarovski Crystals to symbolise the months of birth of the wearer and their partner. It has a small Sterling Silver heart hanging from a length of chain between the crystals. All the findings used are Sterling Silver and the Lovers Necklace is presented in a Leatherette Gift box. I might even have to start nagging the husband to buy me one!!

New Stuff

I can't believe it is already the 8th January, this month is flying by. The first of my new designs has been listed on the website, I love it....it's a Mothers Necklace made with Sterling Silver Findings and Swarovski Crystal Bicones. Each of the crystals represents a month of birth for your Children and the sterling silver ring signifies the everlasting bond between Mother and Child. It come presented in a leatherette box and would make the perfect Birthday/Mothers Day gift. In the next couple of days I will post a picture of " The Lovers Necklace" perfect for Valentines Day or an Anniversary gift.

Neglected!!

Oooops didn't realise how long it was since i had posted on this. I hope all of you had a great Christmas and New Year. The kids go back to school tomorrow so it's finally back to normality. I have been working on a couple of new collectios using Swarovski Crystals and Sterling Silver...just waiting on the bits and pieces to arrive and i can get started.... :-). Valentines and Mothers day are both coming up and a couple of the pieces i'm making will be perfect for them. i will post pictures as soon as I can. Hopefully it won't be quite as long until I next post, bbl x
